Level 2 stations use a 240V, AC plug to charge

and demand the installation of home charging or public charging devices.

For every hour of charging at a level 2 station, 10 to 20 miles of range are provided.

The most popular chargers, Level 2 chargers, charge roughly at the same rate as a residential system.

DC fast chargers are another name for level 3 chargers.

A 480V direct-current (DC) socket is used for Level 3. They don't use the in-car charger.
